Family Fights Ordinance to Keep Beloved Pit Bull
Zeus doesn't bite. He's never exhibited aggressive behavior, either–according to his family.
But a city ordinance in Moreauville, Louisiana is telling them they have to "dispose" of Zeus– or they'll do it for them.
Zeus is a pit bull, and the Owens' story reignites the debate over the dangerousness of bully breeds.
"New Day Weekend" spoke with mother Joanna Armand and daughter O'Hara Owens who said Zeus is an essential member of their family.
