In today's photo of the day, CNN's Ben Wyatt captured Germany's glitter-coated euphoria after winning Sunday's World Cup final at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

He shared: "Somewhere, under the golden glitter, there is a very happy #GER team lifting the #worldcup."

Germany defeated Argentina 1-0 with a goal scored in extra time.
