This Spring has not felt like the typical season for many, with freezing cold and snow well into April.
But this Easter holiday weekend looks to have a day or two of pleasant weather for some.
Bitter cold temperatures from earlier this week in the East will be only a memory as highs reach close to average for April.
The Southeast region will need to be on alert for heavy, flooding rain to end the week. Most of the rain will move out by Sunday bringing a welcome dry Easter.
One area to keep an eye on the sky will be the central U.S. Some showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast.
The Pacific Northwest has not seen much relief from the rain lately and can expect some showers this weekend, too.
A nice weekend is in store for the Southwest region with dry conditions and warm temperatures.
