While several states are overturning bans on gay marriage, one state is pursuing a law that many are calling discrimination. The law is called  H-B 24-53, and it would protect anyone who refuses to serve a gay couple for "religious reasons."
New Day spoke with Tom Witt, executive director for Equality Kansas and Robert Noland, the executive director of the Kansas Family Policy Council to ask: does this cross the line when it comes to religious freedom?

Valentine's Day marked the one-year anniversary of the death of Reeva Steenkamp, who was killed by her boyfriend Oscar Pistorius. Pistorius claims the shooting was accidental, but the investigation into her death is far from over.
