Director and actor Rob Reiner is back on the big screen starring in Martin Scorsese's new film, "The Wolf of Wall Street" playing Leonardo DiCaprio's father.
Reiner spoke about his role in the movie on "New Day" Monday saying "It's a true story, everything that happened in the film actually happened to Jordan Belfort and he spoke openly about it. And as a father, playing a father, it's like watching your kid run into the street and he's about to get hit by a car and you can't pull him out."
When asked about the length of the movie, at almost three hours, Reiner replied "But it works. I was surprised at how funny it is. I mean, I knew it was going to be funny, but it is really funny. There's a scene where Leo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill take quaaludes together that I put up with any block comedy scene I've ever seen in a movie. It's as funny a physical comedy scene as I've ever seen."
