Today’s edition of the good stuff is best called the “better stuff”
It’s an update on the changing fortunes of Joel Hartman.
He's the Atlanta homeless man who found a wallet while digging through trash for food– and returned it to a guest at the Omni Hotel.
The Omni was so impressed, they put him up in a luxury room for the entire Thanksgiving holiday, gave him free room service, a new wardrobe, even a makeover.
Total strangers sent in money. And now, Hartman even has a couple of job offers.
But even that is not the best part.
All of the media attention helped Hartman’s family, who have been looking for him for years, find him, and have a very special Thanksgiving day reunion.
As great as all of this is, it's just the beginning of the road to recovery for Hartman. He faces treatment for acute ADHD– an illness that's prevented him holding a steady job in the past.
