Oprah Talks 'The Butler' and More with CNN’s Nischelle Turner

CNN’s Nischelle Turner sat down one-on-one with Oprah Winfrey who opened up about her return to acting after 15 years, race, OWN, and 'Twitter Thugs.'

In the new Lee Daniels film "The Butler," Oprah stars as Gloria Gaines, the butler’s wife. She reveals to CNN’s Turner why she wanted to be a part of the film.

“This was an opportunity, I thought, to let the world feel the heart of the butler – the heart of this period – that really was a defining period in the lives of many people, but also our nation.”

When asked if she feels like she experiences racism today, she responds, “I experience racism through people’s expectations… and I use it to my advantage.”
