Actor Cory Monteith's autopsy results have been released and confirm that it was a deadly cocktail of heroin and alcohol that took his life, CNN's Nischelle Turner reports.
"There's absolutely nothing at this point, no evidence, to suggest this is anything other than the most sad and tragic accident," says Barbara McLintock, BC Coroners Service.
Police say they believe Monteith had been dead for several hours before being found in his hotel room in Vancouver.
Representatives of his girlfriend Lea Michele sent CNN this message on her behalf:
" ... Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them. They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together."
The overdose is leaving many 'Gleeks' wandering what the show will do in light of Monteith's death. CNN has contacted FOX about the show's future, but the network has not made any announcements.
Can't figure out how knowingly taking heroin in any amount could be an "accident".
