The Duchess of Cambridge could give birth at any moment.
In anticipation, well-wishers and the media are already gathered outside the hospital where Catherine will deliver the royal baby.
CNN’s Max Foster has details live from London.
“With the royal baby possibly due any day and the spotlight of the world's media fixed firmly on this hospital, final preparations are taking place both inside and out,” Foster reports.
From where William needs to park when the Duchess goes into labor to the official announcement once the baby is born, everything is set. The sex of the baby will be announced at Buckingham Palace.
“A piece of paper of notification will be placed on an easel in the middle of the forecourt," Foster reports, "and it will be the official notification to the world that a new prince or princess has indeed been born.”
The world may be waiting and watching for the royal birth, but it was not too long ago that we similarly looked forward to the fairytale royal wedding of the Duke and now-Duchess.
"New Day" co-anchor Kate Bolduan traveled to London recently to document the journey taken by the royal couple, from the alter...to parenthood. Take a look:
