The Statue of Liberty is ready to face the masses, reports CNN's Pamela Brown.
Back in October 2012, Hurricane Sandy forced Lady Liberty's closing just a day after her 126 year anniversary. While the status itself was unharmed, storm surge socked Liberty Island. Bricks were ripped up, docks destroyed and garbage everywhere.
CNN got rare access for the reopening, all the way to her crown, and up 377 steps. Check it out!
