Lucky Duck Gets Prosthetic Foot Made By 3D Printing

Buttercup was born with a birth defect on his left foot that was so painful, it had to be amputated. But thanks to new 3D printing technology, he’s walking easy with a new prosthetic foot.

"Mike Garey has been rescuing and caring for dozens of ducks and geese at the Feathered Angels Sanctuary in Tennessee for years," Pamela Brown reports. That's where he took Buttercup "under his wing."

Seeing Buttercup struggle on one foot after the amputation gave Garey an idea: Make him a real foot.
