When Chris first came to CNN he had a tough time as he adjusted to covering breaking stories for hours at a time. It's hard work, but his passion for the audience keeps him energized.
"I think what motivates me is that people need us," he says. "They need us to be there to connect them to what happens in the world, emotionally and intellectually, and to fight the fight. You only get once chance to wake up in the morning."
On Piers Morgan Live TONIGHT:
"If I wake up at 2:15," she says, "then when we start the show and I wake up at 2:45 or 3:00 it feels like Christmas!"

"It was becoming more of our daily life," says Pereira, news anchor for "New Day," of her job working for Tech TV. "We were all having to learn something, but we were all coming from our levels of expertise."
"Technology has leveled the playing field, for everything from the world of medicine to filmmkaing to the classroom," said Pereira.
