Hong Kong Protestors Hacked Through App

Protestors in Hong Kong have been relying on the smartphone app "FireChat" to communicate without government censorship.

But some users reported that they have recently been receiving some suspicious messages. The texts ask for specific information about upcoming protests as well as personal identity information.

"New Day Weekend" spoke with CNN digital analyst Brett Larson.

Lawsuit: Special needs student used as 'bait' for rape charge

New Day Weekend's Victor Blackwell reports on this complex and disturbing story. A new lawsuit alleges that in 2010, in Alabama a 14-year-old special needs student was raped after a teacher used her as "bait" to catch a sexual predator.

New Day Weekend's Christi Paul spoke with Country music singer and songwriter Trisha Yearwood ahead of her husband Garth Brook's comeback tour. She makes several appearances on stage as the two have recorded many duets over the years. Yearwood opened up about why it was important for she and Garth to take time off from touring to raise their family.
