Little League Coach Is Suing His Player for More Than $500,000

A California Little League coach is suing one of his own players for unintentionally hitting him in the Achilles tendon with a helmet following a walk-off hit. CNN's John Berman reports.

Alan Beck, the coach of the Lakeside Little League team in Roseville, claims his Achilles tendon was torn after being struck by a helmet the 14-year-old threw in the air in celebration as he headed home. Beck wants more than $500,000 for his pain and another $100,000 for lost wages and medical bills.

The player's father, Joe Paris, called the lawsuit "absurd," and legal experts believe the case will have no grounds in court.
