In today's edition of the "Good Stuff," a 4th grade teacher shows her son a valuable lesson after they find $11,000 in the street. CNN's Chris Cuomo reports.
North Carolina resident Sherry Whitesides was recently out with her son when they noticed a bank bag had flown from the top of the car in front of them.
"I didn't know it was money I just saw it was something falling so my son and I pulled over and we got out," Whitesides said.
One after another, Sherry and her 12-year-old son Alan collected $11,000 in hundred dollar bills.
But the driver never turned around.
The mom said she couldn't keep the money though.
She and her son took it directly to the Clover Police Department and turned it in.
"It wasn't mine, I didn't deserve it, I didn't do anything to get it." she said.
Cops did track down the money's owner. It turns out he's a senior citizen who accidentally left the bag on top of his car.
